DC’s Not So Big Wedding Showcase Showdown on November 7
One of the things I enjoy most about this job is the energy of other professionals and the creative ways they are finding to express their talents. One local (DC) group in particular has pulled together it's second effort — the Not So Big Wedding — to have fun and showcase wedding ideas which can be executed with class, taste and affordability.
If you are a bride or a groom seeking services, this is a great way to shop the talents of local vendors, but it's also a great way to get to know the personalities of perspective vendors. And, given the amount of time you'll spend with some of your vendors — on one of the most personal days of your life, no less — it's a good idea to find a nice fit in that regard.
If you'll be in Washington, D.C. this weekend, we encourage you to check out the fun!
No Ordinary Expo
This is not your typical expo. We've challenged wedding vendors to plan a not-so-big, oh-so-elegant wedding for under $15K. Each team will create a wedding package for a ceremony and reception for 65, to include catering, floral arrangements, music, photography and a beautiful Montgomery Parks Event Center rental. Come see the results, get ideas, talk with experts and even purchase designer wedding gowns for $150.
RSVP at NotSoBigWedding.com (& attend) for your chance to win $500 off a Montgomery Parks event center 8-hour social rental.
