Boston Marriage: Mark & Brian

Kim Chapman Photography 8

Mark & Brian got married just steps away from Boston’s Fenway Park on Jan. 25, 2013 at the Hotel Commonwealth, with an intimate group of family and friends as witnesses.

On a cold winter night, they ventured out for an after-dark photo session that produced some beautiful, intimate images. The photography package was a surprise gift from Mark to Brian, and the grooms – in matching shoes and a bow tie/neck tie pairing – posed for some memorable city shots.

Back at the hotel, their ceremony was followed by a lively reception that was full of laughter. The space was decorated with orange flowers, including calla lilies, which created an instantly warm atmosphere. The grooms ate and toasted and mingled with their guests, and even made additional time for some light hearted photos in the hotel. Their cake, a beautifully crafted lighthouse, alluded to their coastal connections – Mark is a wedding coordinator at a dreamy coastal Maine wedding venue.
