Cigar Bar and Wine Cellar Same-Sex Wedding: Styled Photo Shoot
A team of wedding professionals conspired to create this gorgeous styled same-sex wedding shoot. The models, Benedict and Allan, were a real married couple, recently married. According to the wedding coordinator, Melissa, “We really wanted to showcase two men in a setting that was more masculine. Gay men are often photographed with a more feminine vibe and wanted this shoot to express a more manly side.”
The couple was super-sweet and wonderful to work with, according to Melissa. It was important to Elizabeth, the photographer, that their models be a real couple. After seeing the photos, the team understood why. It is definitely clear that they are not actors – they are truly in love.
The shoot was fun for the design team to set up. Glass vintage bottles and single stem flowers were added to the centerpieces to make the tablescape look more cohesive and balanced, yet unrefined and not-too-polished.
The color palette for the shoot was gray with a pop of plum and gold accents. The cigar bar wedding was set in a beautiful wine cellar which doubles as the perfect event space for real weddings.
