Colorado Mountains: Sarah & Liz
If you don’t think the phrases ‘cowboy boots,’ ‘drop-dead gorgeous’ and ‘pick your spot on the grass’ go together, then you haven’t spent time with Liz and Sarah’s wedding album. The brides got hitched on June 16, 2012 at Evergreen Memorial Park in the Colorado mountains.
Their photographer, Kira Friedman from Harper Point Photography, called it ‘the best lesbian wedding ever!’ “Not often do you find two women who are more in love than this and who just so happen to have impeccable taste,” she added.
The Barn at Evergreen is nestled in the mountains, with amazing views of evergreens and wildlife. It’s in the middle of a 100-acre park whose rolling meadows transport you to an incredibly peaceful and idyllic state of mind. A close friend of the brides performed the ceremony and got everyone crying happy tears. The reception blended the rustic and the elegant seamlessly. Drinks in mason jars and a BBQ buffet were a hit with the guests, and delicate flowers adorned the space. The brides and their guests all danced late into the night.
