Same-Sex Geometric Design Wedding: Styled Shoot
This styled shoot is full of unexpected combinations and bold, beautiful design. The venue’s black-and-white geometric patterned courtyard tiles were the inspiration for the design, and were emulated on the three-tiered cake, the sugar cookies, and all of the gorgeous confections on the dessert display.
A gilded Art Deco frame became the backdrop for the display of sweet endings. Rectangular cookies were personalized with the shoot’s tag line, “Ride or Die”.
The brides were dressed in an unexpected and edgy combination of a black bridal gown and a white wedding suit with a plunging neckline. Both brides wore unique sparkling jewelry.
The ceremony was staged in front of the mirrored mantle in the grand ballroom, where the soft flicker of candles glowed all around. An organic-looking floral bouquet complemented the bride’s glistening gown. The floral décor pieces were loose and full of greenery, popping with red and burgundy blooms.
An elaborate dining scene graced the sky-lit courtyard with a vintage marble-topped table draped in vines and more bold blooms in gold and black vases. Ornate gold flatware and vintage goblets were paired with red and black china and geometric themed printed pieces. The courtyard’s fountain was the elegant backdrop to the intimate sweetheart table. The overall effect was a bold, yet sophisticated theme to inspire even the most unique and spirited couples.
