Stunning Evening Texas Wedding: Tyler & Cody
Jan. 22, 2016
Austin florist, Tyler, grew up in Lubbock, Texas. Cody, a choir teacher, grew up in College Station. The two met while they were waiting tables at a restaurant one summer.
During a trip to London, Cody proposed to Tyler. Despite several valiant attempts, as well as one lost passport, he finally popped the question while they walked along the sidewalk after dinner and thus, they became engaged.
The grooms love to travel. Napa Valley is one of their favorite destinations and is where they took their first trip together. They also love Boston, and of course, London!
When they’re not traveling, Cody and Tyler also enjoy a good brunch, doing anything with their dogs and shopping at estate sales. They are foodies and wine aficionados and would jump at the chance to eat Chinese any time of the day.
One of their favorite memories from their Texas wedding was the “flutterfetti.” Tyler just knew they had to have it and they both felt that the pictures turned out great because of it. Another popular detail was the foam hats from Mexico – guests loved them!
Tyler and Cody would recommend that other couples hire a wedding planner to handle all of their details. They also suggest including a brief “private dining” session, otherwise you will never get a chance to eat your own wedding dinner!
