Styled Photo Shoot: Wintry Virginia Farm Wedding

One Summer Day

Sometimes wedding pros just need to get together to exercise their creativity and develop something gorgeous. The inspiration behind this shoot was the Tuscan countryside in winter. Just as the team started to shoot, they were hit by a snowstorm that came earlier than the meteorologists predicted!

The feature color is fuchsia, borrowed from the bougainvillea of Tuscany, accented with greens inspired by olives. The stylists wanted to capture classic romance with a charming Italian twist, and Kyle and Kaylan (a real couple) were the perfect to embody this.

A simple, organic arch serve as the altar, and long arrangements of banquet tables were set in the garden with twinkling cafe lights for the reception. The team organized an olive bar for their guests to enjoy, with hand-pressed olive oil bottles as wedding favors. Of course, no wedding is complete without the perfect send-off, so they also added a vintage bike on which the lovebirds could make their escape.
