Warehouse Color Pop Styled Session

Kamp Weddings

When the Kamp Weddings team decided they wanted to style a shoot in an empty warehouse, they wanted to celebrate their passion for simplicity and fun. Loving the contrast of the stark warehouse space with pops of color and fun elements, they created a colorful backdrop, stocked up on big gold confetti and put together a simple, bold and inviting bar area. The real-life couple, Missy and Kelly, looked amazing amidst the props and flowers.

Missy owns a café and Kelly is both an entrepreneur and a drummer in a band. Missy’s style is retro and she can usually be found in a vintage dress. The photographer/stylists matched her with a retro style cocktail dress with subtle polka dots (Missy loved it so much, she ended up keeping it after the shoot). She provided the red patent pumps and the black birdcage veil, which brought the whole look together.

Missy and Kelly were so comfortable with each other, and you could feel the love between them. They kept complimenting each other on how hot the other looked, which was adorable.

The photographer/stylists had a great time transforming this exciting venue, and recommend that couples not be afraid of blank spaces or designing elements of your wedding yourself. Shooting a couple with such great chemistry didn’t even feel like work to the photography team.

After the shoot, the whole group headed to Missy’s café for lunch!
