Our daughter's wedding was held at Hotel Marlowe on 9/9/17. I can't say enough about the professional, friendly, accommodating staff that we met from the time of planning to the execution of the wedding. Everything went like clockwork. Ellie Durbin was fabulous to work with. She worked tirelessly through the whole process and made sure every detail was completed. Thank you for a fabulous time!

We hosted our wedding reception at Hotel Marlowe in July 2017. We loved this venue as soon as we walked in for the first time. This lovely boutique hotel has a modern and cozy feel and it’s conveniently located close to the T and airport, which worked out nicely for our out of town guests. We were able to use the Charles River and Boston Skyline as our backdrop for wedding photos before our reception. The hotel offers a wide variety of entree and hors d'oeuvre selections. All were very delicious! Ellie was our wedding coordinator and she was very sweet and pleasant to work with. She made the planning process much easier than expected. She was very responsive and never hesitated to provide her two sense. Ellie also proactively reached out to our vendors to ensure everyone is on the same page. We are super thankful to have Ellie as our coordinator as the night won't go so smooth without her help! Many of our guests complemented our wedding was beautiful and that they had a wonderful time! We would highly recommend Hotel Marlowe to anyone planning a wedding!

When we first began planning our wedding, we knew we wanted it to be fun, like a big party, and also have amazing food. Nicola and the Hotel Marlowe brought all of that and more! We did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception (and after party!) at the Marlowe. I was able to plan the wedding of our dreams with Nicola's help, and all of our guests (especially those in their 20s and 30s) could not stop talking about what a great time they had. Nicola and her team were incredible through the wedding planning process, and put together so many little details in how they decorated using what we supplied. Nicola also made sure that we both ate during the reception and her team was sure to put some of the appetizers from cocktail hour on our table so we'd get to try them. Our wedding was everything we wanted it to be, and that is all thank to Nicola and the Hotel Marlowe!

We had our wedding reception at The Hotel Marlowe on October 8, 2016 and words cannot simply explain how incredible everything was! Two words: Hollie Herrick. Hollie was our wedding coordinator at the Hotel Marlowe and she truly went above and beyond. She helped make our dream wedding become a reality and she genuinely cared about how we were doing during the planning process. Hollie Is such a positive spirit and its good to have that around when planning a wedding! The customer experience at the Marlowe is something very rare and special - they make you feel amazing whenever you walk through the door. My husband and I felt like celebrities every time we visited the hotel prior to the wedding and then for the wedding weekend, we were treated like royalty. If you're looking for a gorgeous, intimate venue with delicious (and I mean DELICIOUS) food and superb service - The Hotel Marlowe is your spot!!

Hollie and the staff at Hotel Marlowe were absolutely amazing! Hollie was involved from the first day and was supportive and responsive. The food was beyond delicious, our guests are still raving! We used the hotel for the reception as well as for a day after brunch. The pricing was fair and the packages had a lot to choose from. I would recommend this venue to anyone!

We just got married on April 9th, 2016 and are still on Cloud Nine....all because of the amazing work that Ellie and the entire staff of Hotel Marlowe did to help my husband and I make our wedding dreams a reality!! Ellie went above and beyond to help me plan a night to remember!! Everyone approached me during our wedding and keeps messaging me to tell me how beautiful everything was and how amazing the food was!! The banquet staff were amazing and I would recommend this venue to anyone in a second!! Thanks to Hotel Marlowe for making us feel like we were part of the Kimpton family and helping create my dream wedding!!

My husband and I got married at Hotel Marlowe beginning of March. We couldn't have imagined a better venue (and team to work with)! I must note that we only had 8 weeks to plan our big day (we had to put the date ahead to accommodate family from overseas). Despite this condensed timeframe, the wedding ended up being everything we had envisioned AND beyond, mainly thanks to our coordinator (and catering sales manager) Ellie. From beginning to end, Ellie was very welcoming, sweet, easy to communicate with, patient answering any questions, and attentive to detail. Not only was she flexible working towards what we needed/had in mind, but she also had helpful suggestions for things we hadn't even thought of. With her experience, expert advice, positive attitude, and passion for what she does, Ellie made us feel very comfortable and relieved a LOT of my planning anxiety. On the big day, she made the ceremony and reception run super smoothly - we didn't have anything to worry about. Our 60 wedding guests all had a fabulous time at the hotel! The staff was super professional and very friendly. The food was delicious with a lot of options to choose from. The hotel has a very luxurious and modern feel, and we didn't need a lot of decor. The gorgeous interior design served as a perfect backdrop for wedding photos. Having the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in different halls but all on the same floor was a great logistical advantage for us, our guests, and our vendors! We also loved the opportunity of having an "afterparty" in the hotel lounge for our closest friends, incl. late night snacks and a bar (with very nice bartenders). Some of our guests stayed at the hotel and were impressed with the rooms and service. Our bridal suite was gorgeous, very roomy, and so welcoming that afterwards we wished we had stayed longer. Bottom line: everything was top-notch AND a really good value (especially considering the location and quality of service). Highly recommended!

Our wedding at the Hotel Marlowe was perfect. The space is so beautiful, clean, and quirky, it matched our style perfectly. Everyone on the staff was so incredibly helpful, responsible, and personable -- it seemed like they all knew our names and would ask us if we needed anything every time we saw them. Taylor from the front desk even left a special note and champagne for us the night before! Best of all was our wonderful wedding planner, Ellie. We were so happy to work with her because she was so responsive, receptive to our ideas, and full of wonderful suggestions on how to arrange the space and other details that she thought would match our personalities and style. We got to know Ellie quite well in the year leading up to the wedding so we really looked forward to our meetings with her. She not only made sure our wedding went well, but she also made sure that we took time to enjoy it. We appreciated having separate spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and even after party. The event flowed so smoothly and naturally from one space to the next. The Hotel Marlowe is incredibly pet friendly, which was perfect for us, since having our dog be a part of our big day was very important to us. He got to participate in the ceremony, and the front desk staff was happy to watch and care for him during the reception. To end off the night, the wedding suite was huge and luxurious. I would highly recommend the Marlowe to anyone who is getting married in the Boston/Cambridge area!

My husband and I got married on 10/24/15, and our wedding was beautiful, fun, and full of incredible memories. We felt completely supported and well taken care of from start to finish. We signed up for our wedding 7 months before the big day, and the event coordinators at the Marlowe made the planning so easy. We loved the package that we were offered. A ceremony on site (either indoors or outdoors in the park); delicious food catered by the hotel's restaurant, Bambara; a suite for our wedding day; valet parking for guests; and room blocks at a great rate. You get so much more than that though. The hotel is chic and gorgeous and recently added a lovely piece of new art. The new steam-punk styled armillary named Celeste is a unique and beautiful sculpture that adds a colorful glow to the entrance of the hotel. The hotel is also in a convenient location along the Lechemere Canal overlooking the Charles River with plenty of parking and quick access to the T and airport. My husband and I honestly could not have asked for a better wedding experience. It was important to us that the night have a fun and laid back flow. The team at Hotel Marlowe went above and beyond to take care of us and make our wedding special. We will be sure to keep spreading the word about how amazing it is to have an event at Hotel Marlowe. Nicola & Hotel Marlowe were incredible hosts for my October wedding. When looking for a venue, I wanted a place that was 1. In our price range, 2. Fun & funky, 3. Conveniently located. Marlowe was all of these, and so much more! Working with Nicola was a breeze. She is professional, sweet, personable, and easy to communicate with. Whenever I had a question, she would get back to me right away. At our food tasting, we felt like royalty when we saw a sign with our names outside the conference room and were waited on by courteous and professional staff. (PS. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING and everyone complimented it after our wedding!) When we checked into the hotel, everyone was super friendly -- valet, front desk, etc. They made us feel really special and every minute I was there, I felt so happy that I chose Marlowe for our venue. On our wedding day, Nicola was there the entire time, completely prepared for everything-- when the hook on my dress popped open, she was right there with a safety pin! When my husband forgot to cut the tag off the sleeve of his suit, she found scissors! She kept the day flowing and when things got behind schedule, she was there with a smiling face to remind us what to do next. I felt constantly at ease because I knew she was there if I had a question about where I should be or what I should be doing, and I was able to relax and enjoy every second of the wonderful day. Marlowe is also exquisite and unique, making for wonderful photographs. Our photographer was a family friend and was initially the person to tell me about it. I had asked him his favorite place to take pictures in the area, and Marlowe was at the top of his list. The forecast predicted rain (it was wrong!) but I didn't freak out, because the inside of the hotel is so glamorous and beautiful that I knew we would get gorgeous shots, even if we couldn't go outside. To summarize: Nicola & Hotel Marlowe are phenomenal and I recommend them to everyone!

My husband and I were married at the Marlowe on August 15, 2015. It was an amazing day that we wish we could live over and over again. Although our contact at the hotel left for another position elsewhere after our tasting dinner, we felt confident and taken care of with all of the staff. Our contact, Amanda, was professional and courteous. She was incredibly patient and accommodating with a few of our sillier asks. We were married in the park adjacent to the hotel and used the AV services provided by the hotel. Everything was perfect. My husband was hesitant to choose an outdoor venue in case of inclement weather, but the Marlowe has the amazing option of moving inside for the ceremony should anything happen. It helped to put his mind at ease and we did not have to fret about the weather. Our ceremony went off without a hitch and thunderstorms rolled in during the reception. We had the best of both worlds - a gorgeous outdoor venue and rain for good luck! Highly recommend the Marlowe to anyone looking for solid customer service, wonderfully accommodating staff, and gorgeous event space.

Hotel Marlowe was the venue for my daughter's wedding last weekend. We worked with one of the catering sales managers, Ellie Lucash! She was phenomenal. Her attention to detail, her follow up, her positive attitude and pleasant demeanor made the entire experience absolutely foolproof! She cared about everything that was important to us and did not miss a single detail. We were thrilled. The hotel staff was spectacular. Our guests could not stop raving about the customer service. The food was delicious, and the rooms are lovely. We highly recommend Hotel Marlowe for a wedding venue. It exceeded our expectations!
