If you are looking for the most beautiful room in Boston, then the Courtyard Boston Downtown is your venue! This was the 4th venue I had looked at and the moment I walked into the ballroom, I immediately feel in love. From the gold marble columns circulating the ballroom, to the dazzling chandeliers, to the breathe-taking ceilings; the venue is just simply stunning. My wedding coordinator was Kasey and she was always available to answer any questions I had throughout the wedding process. The day before the wedding, I was able to drop off all my last minute wedding accessories and Kasey made sure everything was set up and in place as I had envisioned. The food was hot and tasteful. It has been 3 weeks since the wedding and I am continuing to receive phone calls on what a beautiful venue and wedding I had. Thank you Courtyard Boston Downtown for giving my the wedding of my dreams!

This venue truly is a hidden gem and allowed us to have the wedding of our dreams. The Empire ballroom is absolutely gorgeous, giant chandeliers and a beautiful unique ceiling. Most ballrooms have very ugly carpets..this one does not! The whole vibe of the hotel was amazing. Our guests raved about the food and the service and really did not have enough good things to say. The wedding coordinator Megan was great to work with, gave quick responses, and was extremely accommodating. It felt like anything we asked for, she would say "sure, no problem." For a venue in downtown Boston, pricing was very reasonable. I truly do not have a bad thing to say :)

The venue was fantastic and the people were great. The space was awesome and absolutely stunning, even though it's a "chain" hotel, the building and the decor are beautiful and the charm and the history of the building can be seen everywhere. Gary the coordinator was the best and the all the food and drinks was the best.

I do not even know where to begin! I had my wedding at the Courtyard Boston Downtown on 1/21/17 and from my initial meeting with Rebecca Rowland I knew I was in good hands. The venue itself is stunning! The hotel has recently been renovated and the function rooms are gorgeous. There are function rooms on the 5th floor with stunning city views and decor. The Empire Ballroom on the main level will take your breath away with all of the beautiful chandeliers and columns. After deciding upon having our wedding at the Courtyard Boston Downtown I received an email from Megan Cote-Rodriguez introducing herself as my coordinator. Megan was always available to answer any questions. At our food tasting I also met Kasey Quinn and the two made an amazing team. We opted to have our rehearsal dinner at the hotel and make a fun weekend out of the wedding. The rehearsal dinner food was delicious and the staff was extremely accommodating. They made us feel like family. On the day of the wedding Megan, Kasey and the rest of the team took care of all of the details. There was no need for me to designate a point person and I was able to get ready and have photos done without worrying. Once the wedding started, from the ceremony to the reception the staff was just amazing. The ballroom took my breath away and all of my guests have raved about the food, staff and rooms. I do not think 5 stars is a high enough review! This is truly a hidden gem in Boston. It is very affordable but makes you feel like you are having your wedding at the most expensive hotel in Boston. I cannot thank them enough for making my wedding the most spectacular day of my life!

AMAZING wedding coordinator!! I don't even know where to start. Megan made sure all our wishes came true no matter how big or small, she was more like a friend to us throughout two years of planning. When my husband and I first started with her they were undergoing a renovation and she always made sure we knew what was happening and kept me calm. We were so blessed to have her. As for the food Robert is an amazing chef and all our guests raved about his cooking. The whole thing made me wish the wedding could go for more than one day. If any bride needs a venue that is affordable in Downtown Boston this is it, you will be treated more like family than a client. They really do transform dreams into a reality.

The Marriott was very helpful and went above and beyond! Anne, Rich, and Adam are awesome. Anne was so helpful in helping us book the venue and she even offered her own expertise as a recently married woman with planning ideas and who she used as vendors. Rich was our contact once we booked, and he was instrmental in helping us plan our timeline and even acted as our rehearsal coordinator. He had everything organized for us. Adam was our banquet manager, and made everything from the initial tasting to the actual reception run smoothly, with great food and impeccable service. Everyone loved the food. Anything we asked for, they were able to make happen. They even volunteered some ideas for photos and gave us access to other areas of the hotel for unique photo opportunities. They treated us like royalty that weekend and the entire hotel staff was so courteous. After the wedding, we had some issues with our honeymoon flight and were stranded at the Miami airport. Rich helped us book a Marriott for the night and even got us the friends and family discount. They truly went above and beyond, even after the event was over. I highly recommend this hotel and the staff. Also - the hotel and ballroom are beautiful and our pictures came out wonderfully.

The staff was very easy to work with. Richard was absolutely wonderful! He helped us plan a great reception that was in our budget. In fact, I think he actually enjoyed that we wanted something nontraditional. Both he and Ann brainstormed great ideas; I wish we could have used them all. We received so many compliments from our guests on how much they enjoyed the food and the location.

Megan Cote, manger of banquet and events at the Courtyard Marriot Tremont, was amazing from the minute my husband and I met her. She e-mailed me back right away whenever it was that I had questions. She looked up several vendors for me. She gave me several suggestions and agreed to whatever it was that I was looking to do for my wedding. She was also did a wonderful job organizing our wedding and dealing with very very difficult parents, who wanted the day to be as perfect and beautiful as possible. Megan went up and above for us and I cannot thank her enough. This location is a hidden jem in Boston. The ballroom is gorgeous and as a beautiful antique look to it. I had a wonderful wedding thanks to Megan and my several vendors. The only thing that I would need to complain about would be the fact that one of my plates was taking away from me too early and the valet parking the my in-laws paid for did not go as we wished, due to the lack of staff that were avaiable. However, I think that overall Megan did a beaitful job and I could not thank her enough!

We loved this hotel. We especially loved the ballroom. It was gorgeous and photopgraphed amazingly. The ceiling looked so beautiful in the photos. The staff was very professional and friendly!

The Courtyard Marriott is a beautiful hotel with modern features but an old fashioned feel. We received several comments from our guests about how much they loved the space. Megan Cote was incredibly responsive to all our late night emails and thousands of questions. However, when it came time for the wedding weekend itself, there were several miscommunications that led to some headaches. It wouldn't deter me from recommending the hotel, though. Just be prepared to be very organized yourself and ask lots of questions.

They were great to work with. Anne Shin was very professional. After we booked with her we we worked with Rich DiMare. He was great, but we found ourselves having to repeatedly tell him things. Our main concern was having a pig at our tea ceremony. We were upfront about it from the beginning, but he forgot about it until a week before! This caused some stress as my husband and I thought he knew about it. Everything worked out in the end, but we felt as though he would forget things we told him, or forget to tell us things we needed to know. Adam was the catering manager and was very professional as well. He was a pleasure to work with and was on top of his game. The only complaint I have about the catering is that many of my guests had drinks that were cleared away before they had finished. The food was excellent. I'm very pleased we went with Courtyard Marriott.
