Relax and celebrate for the entire weekend on our 23-acre horse farm in Virginia’s wine country. Historic Tranquility Farm offers a Rustic Event Barn and your choice of multiple Event Spaces for ceremony, reception, cocktails, rehearsal dinner and brunch, as well as lodging in our elegant 1807 Fieldstone Farmhouse, plus the option for glamping (“glamorous camping”).

– The Stable with rustic stone walls for rehearsal dinner, cocktails, ceremony rain backup

– Tented Event Site seats 200 guests (tent fee additional) with electric & catering barn

– Outdoor Ceremony Sites of your choice with vineyard, garden and pastoral views

– Fieldstone Farmhouse with lodging (4 bedrooms/2 master suites, 3.5 baths)

– Farmhouse Grounds: Courtyard & Terrace for ceremony, cocktails, rehearsal dinner, brunch

– Dressing Suites in the Farmhouse and Groom’s Lounge (barn loft)

– Silo Lounge: Unique industrial space for cocktails, rehearsal dinner, welcome area, etc.

– Gardens: Boxwoods, magnolias, roses & historic stone structures for photographs

– Glamping with real beds, linens and furniture, plus gourmet s’mores service

The Day Experience / $7,500

*12-hour rental

Includes Rustic Barn for reception, Event Spaces of choice for ceremony & cocktails, dressing suites in the Fieldstone Farmhouse and Groom’s Lounge, gardens & grounds for photographs, and the ceremony site for one-hour rehearsal the day prior.

The Weekend Experience / $10,500 *48-hour rental

Celebrate for the weekend and host all wedding events on property: Includes all Event Spaces and lodging for two nights in the Fieldstone Farmhouse (4 bedrooms, 2 master suites). Glamping is available at an additional fee of approximately $500 per tent (sleeps 2 to 4) per weekend.

To ensure your event runs smoothly, we require you hire a professional planner/coordinator and licensed caterer. Tables, chairs, tableware, decor, florals, tents, restroom trailers (for the tent site), etc. must be rented separately. We offer recommendations for all vendors.

My husband and I fell in love with this place the first time we visited, and our love grew through the planning and of course our fabulous wedding weekend. We had Tranquility for 48 hours - hosting our rehearsal, Friday night festivities, all wedding day activities, and Sunday relaxation/debrief onsite. The barn, main house and guest house were perfect for all of our weekend events, as well plenty of lodging for our immediate families and some of the wedding party. Suzanne is fabulous and goes out of her way to provide recommendations, tips, and support in anyway you need while planning your wedding. And of course - the place is stunning, full to the brim with amazing photo opps ranging from the tallest silo in Loudon County, VA to the old dairy barn ruins. I want to go back there already!

Tranquility Farm hosted our daughter and son-in-laws wedding and it was amazing! The owners were incredibly accommodating and we were there for the full weekend event. The venue is like no other and we were so grateful to have such lovely hosts, who truly cared about every detail for us, and have built such a fantastic venue. It was the weekend of a lifetime for us all! We even had glamping tents set up! A must to look at for anyone who wants a memorable location...thank you Tranquility!

We hosted our daughter's and son-in-law's wedding reception at Tranquility Farm. The ambience of this boutique venue far exceeded any five-star hotel ballroom reception that we could have planned. We're from Northern Virginia, yet this was like a destination wedding for us. We stayed in the Fieldstone Manor House for the weekend, which is simply lovely and resulted in beautiful photos of our daughter getting ready to be married, as did the Historic Barn and the Groom's Loft for our son-in-law. Our son-in-law's family is from North Carolina, and they stayed in the Vineyard Cottage, which is quiet and very comfortable. The reception started with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the Historic Barn, complete with a local bluegrass band, which was a huge hit with our guests! Dinner and dancing followed under a beautifully decorated tent, complete with crystal chandeliers, only a short walk from the barn. (Don't be concerned about a wet day......it was wet that day, and it only added to the charming ambience of the venue!!!). Later in the evening, we served Bourbon, Port, and Cigars in the large Dairy Silo.....another huge hit with our guests!!! Our hosts, Suzanne and Ted, were at the right place at the right time throughout the weekend, and went out of their way to ensure that everything was working well (including assisting with horses for photos and building a fire for the after-party). Suzanne was so flexible and easy to work with, and she worked very well with our wedding planner and vendors. Our daughter and son-in-law were delighted with their wedding celebration! We would host another Tranquility Farm wedding again on a heartbeat!!! It was very elegant, yet had a charming vintage and country feel and ambience. This venue and its owners deserve five stars in every category. If you are looking for a unique venue and weekend experience, this is the place!!! It's one of a kind!!!

We wanted a rustic yet elegant venue, and Tranquility Farm fit our vision perfectly. Our guests were so complimentary of the event spaces, from the romantic courtyard for cocktails to the historic barn for a delicious farm-to-table dinner served by Bluewater Kitchen. Our wedding party appreciated the comfortable overnight accommodations and enjoying Sunday brunch together at the manor. The owner is flexible and easy to work with, which made it a pleasant experience during a very stressful time. We are still on cloud nine over how well everything went. – Sarah and Stephen
