I would highly recommend Pinstripes for a wedding location. We worked with Christina throughout the process who was able to accomplish everything we asked. Guests complimented the food and had fun. We had the ceremony and reception at Pinstripes, along with a cocktail hour. They also let us have our rehearsal here the day before. For the reception, we had a DJ, but also included bocce and bowling as an option for guests. The venue was perfect for us (and our 64 guests) and very reasonably priced for the DC area.

As much fun as I had telling friends and family that we were getting married at a bowling alley for a few months and seeing their looks, Pinstripes is an amazing space. We had several comments from guests about the beautiful Georgetown Canal scenery, the food, how nice the reception was, the good beer on tap, the friendly servers and bartenders and finally how unique yet traditional our wedding was. When we started planning we looked at the wineries in Loudoun and some other event spaces in DC, and there are a lot of gorgeous places, but when we found Pinstripes we looked at each other and said yes this is where we're getting married. Then to make it better we got into pricing and in terms of wedding prices you will not find a more reasonable fee in DC proper – or the burbs for that matter. It was great that we didn’t have to bring in our own caterer, chair guy, table guy etc…most of what we needed was right there and the guest appreciated not having to go from place to place too. We worked with Rosalyn who was as helpful as could be and made the whole experience at Pinstripes fun and stress free. The one thing you could possibly nitpick is the reception room is pretty plain, but after throwing in some flowers, up lighting and a few drapes you were in a totally different place. Believe me when it comes to price, fun, scenery and service you’re not going to find a better combo than Pinstripes. P.S. we did rent the bowling alley from 11-1 after our ceremony and reception – so technically we did get married at a bowling alley. We thought maybe 30 or so of our 150 guests would stay – it ended up being around 120. So if you do pick here, book the bowling after party too as everyone had a blast!

We booked Pinstripes for our wedding before it was actually open for business! Even before seeing the beautiful interior ballroom upstairs with wood floors, track lighting, and the loft feel that we were hoping to find in DC, we knew that the amazing location and the awesome events team was too good to pass up. We were not disappointed! Pinstripes was by far the most affordable option we looked at in DC, and yet it hit all of the marks that were important to us: a contemporary, chic space; great location; and stellar food! The food at Pinstripes is excellent; I can't tell you how many guests came up to us and commented on the food, and many of the guests (ourselves included) are foodies. Rosalyn, the events manager, was great to work with; she responded quickly and was always incredibly detail-oriented in all of our correspondences. She offered great ideas and truly understands the nature of the space and how to utilize every square inch of it! Rosalyn and her team helped our florist set up and made sure that the elements we contributed ourselves were placed correctly. The staff who worked the wedding were also incredibly attentive and very professional, and everything went off very smoothly. The biggest selling point of Pinstripes is that the most important elements of the wedding are already provided, and the space really allows you to design an event that truly captures you and your partner's style.

While Pinstripes may be an untraditional wedding venue it is an amazing location and value and I could not recommend it more highly! My wedding was gorgeous - elegant, yet relaxed in this space. We went into venue hunting knowing we had an uphill climb - we were looking for a venue that could theoretically fit 180 in DC, near a metro, and something that wasn't outrageously expensive. Impossible right? But then we happened upon Pinstripes before it had even opened in 2014 and we knew that we had to take the risk. Well we were certainly rewarded for our leap of faith. We had the entire second floor for the wedding - and it was great. We ended up with only 165 people - but we could've fit more. Everyone loved the space - we glammed it up a bit with uplighting and chiavari chairs to soften the industrial/rustic look - and it was so much more unique than a regular hotel or event space. What's even more amazing is despite the spectacular location on the canal in the heart of Georgetown is that the pricing is EXTREMELY reasonable - well below anywhere else we looked. The food was delicious - seriously so good (try to chicken and avocado club flatbread, you won't regret it!) Our guests commented on how yummy everything was - and we certainly can attest to that after eating there numerous times. Truly Pinstripes is a gem, and I can't speak highly enough about Charlotte Meadows who stepped in midway to work with us after her predecessor left. She was so great about everything, and left us feeling even better about things than we had previously. We love Pinstripes, and we know that others will too - you won't regret it!

Pinstripes was selected for our wedding reception based on the fact that it offered a very unique experience in a great location. Prices were great for DC and the event space is beautiful. Our guests loved the activities (bowling & bocce) and raved about the food. Our planner, Charlotte was extremely prompt, listened to all of our requests and offered fabulous advice when asked. We can't thank her and her team enough for pulling off our beautiful and fun wedding!

Pinstripes was AWESOME!!! Rosalyn was the event coordinator for our reception. She made sure that every little detail was polished and that my husband and I were satisfied with our service. Our personal waiter, Mario, and all the other staff we encountered during our visit were ALL very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent! The ambiance was beautiful! Bowling in was a hit with all of our guests! We all had a grrrrreat time and I would definitely recommend Pinstripes to anyone!

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Pinstripes and everything was amazing! The service and the food was exceptional from start to finish. We rented the top floor balcony room which has a great view of the canal. The family style dinner is five courses and they have a great number of options for each course (that you can try at your full tasting beforehand). Charlotte Meadows was the woman we worked with to get everything set up and she was fantastic. On the night of the rehearsal dinner we had last minute change in plans and needed to change the times each course was brought and the entire staff worked with us to make sure everything was perfect. Our rehearsal dinner was one of the highlights of our wedding weekend; in fact everything went so well that friends of ours who are getting married next spring are having their rehearsal dinner there as well!

We worked with Charlotte to plan an amazing wedding after-party. It was a blast! Our guests loved the pizza and drinks, and the bowling and bocce was a huge hit! Our after-party at Pinstripes was a fun and relaxing way to end our wedding evening... and it was so much fun to go bowling in my wedding gown!

Pinstripes was an amazing wedding venue for us. We did the ceremony, reception and a bowling after-party all in one evening at Pinstripes and we could not be more happy with our decision. We had a great feeling about Pinstripes from the moment we first visited it. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable and inviting while also still being classy and something special. Our guests were certainly impressed with the service, the food and the atmosphere. We got so many great comments and compliments. Rosalyn was or event manager and she did an incredible job of pulling together all the details for us and really making the event exactly what we envisioned. She made it her business to make sure that we were satisfied with all aspects of the event and she worked very hard all day to make it happen. The food is very delicious, the drinks were great and the service was remarkably outstanding. It is hard to imagine getting all that for the same price anywhere else in DC. Great value! It made for a reasonably priced, memorable and unique wedding!

My husband and I are so grateful to the Pinstripes staff! Paola, our primary event planning contact, was extremely well-organized and a pleasure to work with - a huge plus for us, since we did not use a wedding planner of our own. Her managers Kody and Aaron helped run our event (a pre-wedding Jack & Jill style bowling bachelor/bachelorette get-together, and our wedding reception!) and were both thoughtful, attentive and detail-oriented. As a result, everything went off without a hitch; the ceremony was set up exactly as we wanted, the space was flipped quickly and seamlessly during our cocktail hour, the seated reception looked beautiful... and the food was amazing! I was worried that I would overwhelm them with my detailed vision (and the accompanying decor and set-up list we dropped off!), but they made everything look even better than we could have dreamed. And to top it all off, we went bowling afterwards, which was a huge hit with guests of all ages! Folks are still talking about the amazing time they had. Thank you, Pinstripes, for making our big day so very special.

Pinstripes was a great location for our wedding! The food was top notch - not like regular, boring wedding food. They also took great care to make sure the food allergies of our guests were taken care of. The experience felt very custom. The space is really pretty upstairs (simple brick and hardwood make it easy to look good). While I would cringe whenever we told people it was a bowling and bocce place, you would never have known during the wedding (we didn't utilize the gaming). Only negative is that it was a little tight/hot for 130 guests (but that may also be because it was 80 degrees in October!). In terms of service, we were incredibly happy. We were a little nervous when the event manager we met with when we signed our contract left to go to another company, but her replacement - Molly - was simply amazing! She was so great to work with, paid attention to all of the little details I cared about, took the time to make sure things were right, and just generally made the day go great. The other benefit of that location was taking photos along the canal and on the brick patio. Definitely recommended!
