We had a wonderful experience with Bob and Tracy at the Black Walnut Point Inn. We had our wedding weekend there, with about 150 people and two events, one on Friday night and one on Saturday night. Bob and Tracy were amazing to work with from the beginning, responding quickly to my relentless emails and helping me troubleshoot things with vendors. Their advice was priceless and we had some much fun visiting the inn with our parents to do tastings and choosings, we knew we had made the right decision. The Friday night event had a few issues which did not affect our guests, but which I noticed, and Bob and Tracy took care of EVERYTHING before the wedding on Saturday, which was PERFECT in every way. They calmed me down and took care of our demanding families who were staying at the inn as well, which allowed us to kick back and enjoy ourselves. Our guests also enjoyed interacting with them and commented on how fun and helpful they were. There were a few items we wanted from our wedding that got misplaced, but they searched for them again and again during clean up and found a few of them, which was really above and beyond. The inn is truly a one of a kind venue and our guests were amazed by the natural beauty of the weddings backdrop.

Using Black Walnut Point Inn as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions that we made! Bob and Tracy were great throughout the planning process and the weekend of our wedding. The grounds are beautiful, and so many guests said it was the most beautiful setting for a wedding that they've ever seen. I'd highly recommend using this venue!

When we came to Black Walnut I already had another venue in mind, and then after looking over the grounds and speaking with Bob and Tracy I knew that we had fallen into a complete gem. From that moment of deciding to have our wedding at Black Walnut until the day of the wedding the least of my concerns were what most brides are worried about - all the vendors, issues with the venue, issues with food - I had none of those concerns. Bob and Tracy helped me with all my questions and we were able to put together an incredible day based on their experience and my unique requests. Also, the sight itself is pretty much as close to heaven as I can imagine on earth. Between the beautiful Inn, surrounding land, Pier and incredible flowers that Debbie from Swan Cove provided - it was just heavenly! My guests were raving about the site, how I found it, and how beautiful the wedding and rehearsal dinner. Also, in terms of costs we were able to buy our own liquor and work with Henry to find a fantastic bar tender. Further the food from Henry for both the wedding and rehearsal dinner was just incredible. My uncle from Boston was raving about the fish! That says alot. Overall, I felt better than I could have ever imagined the day of my wedding and the day after we were just sad it was over. We will miss working with Bob and Tracy and will definitely be back to stay at the Inn now as husband and wife and reminisce about our incredible life experience and more to come at Black Walnut Point Inn!

This was the perfect place for my small family wedding. We had a total of 15 people for our wedding. We wanted to spend the weekend with the people who mean the most to us and bring our families together. BWPI was awesome for this. We stayed from Thursday through Sunday and our guests loved it! Pool party, BBQ and then the wedding itself. Bob and Tracy are awesome and were so helpful when the weather got questionable. This location made for perfect pictures and lasting memories. I was so sad to leave! Can't wait to go back for another weekend!

Bob and Tracy at the Black Walnut Point Inn (BWPI) was an absolute blessing. When I started looking at different venues for my wedding, I was crushed at how expensive it was just to book a location so I considered the possibility of renting a house. Which ended up being a terrible idea since I would be looking at peak summer prices and it was going to cost an arm and a leg just just for the location. We ended up finding the BWPI by accident; my obsessive Google searches recommended it randomly and the rest was history. We had our rehearsal dinner (which really was just a bbq) and ceremony/reception at the inn. Believe me when I say that it was everything we could have wanted and more. The location is gorgeous; the inn sits at literally the end of Tilghman Island, about 30 mins past St Michaels. Bob and Tracy. We really can't say enough about them. They were so helpful and so welcoming from the very beginning. Without their help, we wouldn't have been as stress free and we couldn't have enjoyed our rehearsal dinner, let alone our wedding day. If you're looking for a place, don't look anywhere else. You've found it.

From the first time we reached out to Bob and Tracy until we packed up our car following an incredible weekend, they have been nothing but incredible to work with. We visited them several times during our planning process and they were always super helpful. We are convinced there is no other place that would have hosted us as successfully as they did. The Blackwalnut Point Inn is a beautiful venue (flowers, beautiful views, hammocks, fire pit, etc). We had the place for the weekend so we could spend more time with our international guests and everyone commented on how amazing the property was. We love the privacy of the venue and the ability to have a long, loud, and fun party until whatever time. You have so much flexibility to do whatever you can think of when working with Bob and Tracy. On top of their amazing service, they will quickly become family. You will spend your meetings and time with them laughing so hard and eating delicious breakfasts. It is hard to say enough good things about them and the venue. 5/5 isn't high enough of rating!

Bob & Tracy are fantastic. Even with a torrential downpour, they had a plan B, C and D already well prepared. We had people come from all over the Globe who were warmly welcomed by our loving hosts. I'll miss my weekly email exchanges with Bob & Tracy as hosts but hope that we now move forward as friends. If you want a weekend filled with laughter, fun and low stress: I strongly recommend the BWPI.

Black Walnut Point Inn is absolutely beautiful! The owners, Bob and Tracy, are gems. Very accommodating and helpful, so much fun as well. We had the inn for the whole weekend - Friday night rehearsal dinner, Saturday wedding, Sunday clean-up and relax, open gifts - and it was great. Since they have no neighbors (the inn is on a peninsula, hence the "Point" part of the name) and they own the place, your party can end at any time - our guests ended up turning in around 2 a.m. (we had a 4:30 ceremony, dinner at 6, reception around 8, etc) They also provided the names of vendors we could use - we ended up using most of their suggestions. They can also help you find lodging for guests if you have a lot of people coming from out of town, or you have to many guests for what the inn can host. Really wonderful place, look forward to going back.

We had selected a different vendor but were not satisfied by the choice as we got further into the planning process. We returned to Black Walnut Point, which we had looked at earlier in our search, and found the perfect spot. We were able to customize everything - including having a traditional Maryland-style cookout on Friday night for our "rehearsal dinner" - and Bob and Tracey made everything so easy on us. The most glowing reviews came from our guests; everyone loved the venue and many guests thanked us personally for introducing them to the location and plan to come back. We couldn't be happier - it was a perfect day.
