Quality of Service: 5.0
I contacted Barbara to make me a unique and stunning bouquet for my wedding because after I discovered brooch bouquets, I just fell in love with it. I knew that I didn't want the traditional floral bouquet (although there is nothing wrong with going old fashion because fresh cut roses are always a bold stunning statement in photos) and thought that a brooch bouquet would be a wonderful keepsake after the wedding. Barbara sent me a photos of the bouquet she was working on for me so that I knew what it looked like and I was pretty impressed with what I saw. She also knew that since my wedding colors were green, light pink and light yellow, she wanted to make sure that she incorporated that into the bouquet, especially the green. She thought it would be a great idea to weave a thin green ribbon throughout the bouquet to really give it the green color pop (I made a green sash for my wedding dress that I had tied around my waist, so I really wanted to make that statement that green was part of the wedding, which is my favorite color by the way). When I walked down that aisle (got married on 9-1-2012), I know that not only were my guests in awe of my dress, my make up and hair (they really were because I am the type of girl who does not wear make up or really make up her hair... I'm really just a plain Jane type of girl) but also of my bouquet because it was something different. After the ceremony, my brooch bouquet was moved to our sweet heart table so that it could be the center piece of our table, which was 1 less center piece that my husband and I had to make and come up for our own table. One thing that I do want to mention is that Barbara was just so sweet in wanting to make sure that my late father was remembered during my wedding. She added a small picture frame to the bouquet and inserted my dad's photo so that he could be with me down the aisle. With Barbara's personal touches, eye for talent and beauty, you will not be disappointed with her creations.
