Once my fiance and i walked in we knew that was the place where we wanted to get married! They've been so helpful and patient with us while talked about it and for sure decided this is where we were having it! The location in des moines is perfect and i cant actually wait to see how it looks when we actually get married!!

After seeing Noah's in WDM, we immediately knew it was the venue for us! The inside is beautiful and well maintained. They have plenty of areas to meet all our needs, including having our ceremony and reception in the same room, a locked bridal suite, plenty of prep kitchen space for our vendors, and tons of areas for our guests to chat. We also really loved the fact that we did not need to rent tables, chairs, and linens from somewhere else. Noah's looked beautiful on our wedding day and a lot of our guests commented on how beautiful the space was! What keeps me from a 5 star rating is the business side of things with Noah's. Our credit card number was stolen after our first payment to them, and after calling in a new payment method, they continually processed the old payment method so monthly we had to call in to ask them to run the new payment method. They also only have 1 email address that all the employees work off of, so I found that as we got closer to the day and were communicating, several of the girls where responding to the emails I sent, without truly going back and reading the emails so they all asked me the same questions, which for me got very confusing. Finally - for our layout, they drew up a combination of round and long tables and quoted us that 10 people could sit at a round table. During the flip of our room from the ceremony to the reception, our wedding coordinator found that the rounds they had would only seat 8... not exactly the time you want to find out that your layout doesn't work. Also - they had never tested the layout they had given us so our coordinator had to make game time decisions to move our cake table. It worked out in the end but had that been us, along with our family setting up the reception while all our guests were waiting, it probably would have gone drastically different. Overall - Noah's is very beautiful and the event went off without a hitch - just getting to the day with Noah's was a little trying on our patience.

No question, the venue is perfect. However, the staff can be difficult to work with. They were responsive but not always helpful. We were always speaking with someone knew (sometimes it was hard to tell because they don't sign their emails so half the time I didn't know who I was working with). We didn't know until the week of who was going to be at our wedding and the girl we had given all of our details to was quitting before our date so we were nervous that it wasn't going to go as we had planned. Some things were not set up the way we had asked but luckily, we had a team of friends and family there in the morning to fix everything to be how we envisioned. The open vendor policy is fantastic, but don't let them fool you. They will push Christianis bartender service on you since they're "preferred". We fought this and were able to bring in our own caterer with bartending as we did not want to have ANOTHER vendor. This was not an easy fight but finally they allowed it. I would not recommend this place solely because of the staff. However, the night was flawless the venue was beautiful and we are married!
NOAH'S Event Venue - Des Moines responded with the following comments:
Thank you for taking the time to write a review--your wedding was absolutely beautiful and we truly enjoyed hosting your event at NOAH'S. We appreciate your feedback as well as the opportunity to respond. Instead of assigning one coordinator throughout the entire planning process, we want each of our clients to know that they have an entire team of people at NOAH'S who are there for one united purpose: to make your day just as wonderful as you envision it! We truly believe that we did everything that we could to help accomplish that and we were more than happy to make all last-minute changes to your layout and to also accommodate your bartender of choice in this situation. We pride ourselves in the service that our staff provides for each and every wedding and we go to great lengths to share every detail of your event with everyone on our staff so that we are all there to provide you with top-notch service. We are glad to hear that your event was a success and we enjoyed working with you. We hope to have you back out at NOAH'S soon!
