Wendy Pudlick at the Sheraton was our main contact for planning and organizing the entire reception. Wendy was super responsive and helpful from the first time we contacted her right through the wedding date. There were a few bumps along the way...the 800-number for our guests to book their rooms through was not a great process (seemed like quite a few guests who called were told the block was full and in actuality it wasn't, therefore I ended up making reservations for quite a few guests or guests booked using AAA rates instead of our block rate). There was also a last minute change for our social hour prior to the reception - it ended up turing out great (thanks to Wendy), however it did make us a bit nervous with only about a month to go prior to the wedding. We served food during out social hour, did a buffet style dinner and had a late night snack...comments from many, many guests was "it was the best and most food I have ever had at a wedding!" We had lots and lots of good feedback on the food. The room set up was also amazing, thanks to Wendy and her team! We did the draping with lights and it really gave the room a very special feel. The Shearton West was great from beginning to end!

We held our event here with an external caterer and also had a wedding block of hotel rooms for our guests, and everything went well. Julie B. and Marlena F. were fabulous to work with!

We were very impressed with the Sheraton Minneapolis West. When you first walk into the hotel the remodel definitely is beautiful! Everything from the ballroom, front lobby, and event the rooms was very nice. When we did our walk through with the planner, she was not only professional but also personable. The experience she had really showed when she was describing what they do, and how accommodating they can be. She had even mentioned that weddings were her passion! That right there says a lot! We are booking with the Sheraton!

Overall, a fantastic job. Very professional. Wendy walked us through many of the details of our wedding day. She was incredibly knowledgeable and got us thinking about some of the details in advance. My only recommendation is to NOT use the national hotel number they ask you to have your guests use to make hotel reservations. The national line was horrible and riddled with errors. However, when we (and our guests) used the direct local number, we had wonderful results.

Wendy at the Sheraton was knowledgeable, helpful and always available to help us with every aspect of our wedding. She offered great suggestions when we needed direction and was open to any and all of our DIY ideas for decorating and setup. We had one issue with asking for one specific alcohol to be served that wasn't on their list. Said it wasn't a problem, but they never delivered on it.

This hotel was a complete let down. Even though we had over 20 rooms booked and an event room for multiple nights, we only got one night free. Only certain room levels are allowed into a "special" room for breakfast in the morning and our guests who had rented these rooms were not informed of this service! The breakfast itself was not worth the hype. The internet in our room did not work and the only solution was to pack up and check into a different room and we could not even check first to see if the internet in that room worked. I was ignored for minutes every time I went to the front desk unless it was after midnight-in fact the night auditor gave us the best service the whole time we were there! The hot tub was closed when we checked in and the pool was closing the day we checked out. We were not informed of this prior to checking in either. Communication was lacking. We tried to arrange a shuttle from our wedding venue to the hotel and were informed this was not available because our venue was too far from the hotel-but then another wedding party was having their weddding at the same location and they had a shuttle from the hotel!! I would not recommend this hotel to anybody-many of our guests had problems and complaints. What a letdown!
