Chicago Union Station
ELEGANT • HISTORIC • GLAMOROUS
Experience the ultimate venue in Chicago. The magnificent Burlington Room at Chicago Union Station is the ideal location for elegant special events, receptions and weddings. Originally designed by famed architect Daniel Burnham ("make no small plans, they have no magic to stir men's blood") and completed in 1925 by the Graham, Anderson, Probst and White Firm.
In December 2016, Chicago Union Station completed restoration of the Burlington Room. The room was originally constructed as the Women's Lounge, where ladies could wait for the train and enjoy the services of the adjacent beauty parlor and other facilities. Today it is an elegant, historic space perfect for a wedding reception up to 220 guests or cocktail party for 294 guests.
The rich history and beauty of Chicago Union Station has made it a popular location for feature films including The Untouchables, My Best Friend's Wedding, Flags of Our Fathers and many others. Whether you are planning a dinner for your family and friends or cocktail reception for your colleagues it is a timeless setting in one of Chicago's most prestigious landmarks and will be sure to make an unforgettable impression upon your guests.
