We had our wedding on 8/23/15 at the Stanley and it was awesome! The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. We are from NJ and happened to have Jersey as our day-of coordinator and she was amazing! So accommodating and took such good care of my husband and I as well as our guests. Hillary was wonderful and really worked well with our vendors. Even the chef came out to make sure that everything was to our liking. The hotel is quite charming, not to mention that the views are beautiful - we got married on the Longs Peak Lawn and it made for fantastic pictures. We cannot thank the Stanley enough for putting on such a beautiful wedding for us!

We had our wedding ceremony on the front lawn of the Stanley, and the reception in the Music Room -- and it was absolutely beautiful. I also really enjoyed working with Dana on all the details leading up to the event. The day of, the Stanley staff were fantastic. Dana helped my family manage the day-of logistics, and we had a specific person assigned to us to make sure we actually got to eat and drink. Jersey was so wonderful, she totally took care of us. The bar staff were also great. We stayed at the hotel the entire weekend, and by the end we left feeling like we had a big group of new friends. We were extremely happy with the quality of service, and the beauty of the hotel and Estes Park just can't be beat. I think all of our guests would say the same. The only issue we had in working with the hotel was with the reservations department. There were a couple issues with our room block that led to some confusion when guest were arriving. But it all worked out in the end, and the rest of the weekend was smooth sailing.

The folks at the Stanley were awesome! At first they were a little slow to repsond to our email, but after meeting Carrie and her crew, they made up for it. The banquet staff was exceptional! Our guest were gushing about well they were taken care of. We were a little wary of the price, but a wedding with 50 guests and an open bar for less than $10,000 (including tip and service fees) we felt we got a great deal. The hotel was very gorgeous, the bar at the other end of the hotel was a favorite spot for some of our other guests. The food was outstanding, and everyone had plenty to eat. The staff was very flexible with our plans. We even changed the set up of the room the day before (we live in california, so we planned all of it out of state). Again, the staff was amazing, the food was amazing, and the venue was awesome. If you want to get married in the Rocky Mountains, this is a place to check out!

I had the destination wedding of my dreams at the Stanley Hotel on August 25,2007. It was a great experence from day one...The wedding coordinator, Holly, was amazing. She handled all the details and reassured me that everything would come together perfectly...which it all did. Her recommendations of the vendors were spot on. My guests are still raving about the whole Colorado Mountain experience. We were married on the Front Lawn and the pictures were breathtaking. Our reception was in the Concert Hall...the only downside was we had to have a buffet , because the Concert hall building is so far away fom the main hotel kitchen. However, the food was upscale and very good. (I had just envisioned a sit down dinner)...nonetheless-the wedding reception ran seemlessly... the servers were jamaican and very well trained. All in all it was a perfect start to my marriage! I would completely recommend the Stanley Hotel

I am so glad I choose The Stanley Hotel for my wedding reception. The hotel is located 15 minutes from my ceremony venue in Rocky Mountain National Park which is perfect. The views are breathtakingly beautiful as well as the grounds and hotel. The Stanley Hotel offers great wedding packages that fit my needs perfectly. I instantly fell in love with the hotel, but the food really sealed the deal! Everything I tried was delicious, and the food is very important to my fiance and I! I only have a few complaints, although the wait staffs execution was great we did have some issues. My guests and I felt like we were being rushed through our dinner. The staff was too quick to bus plates when guests were not finished eating. Also, against our instruction the bartender proceeded to open several bottles of champagne and pour them for toasts. We had expressed that there would be no toasts, no one attending drank champagne, and most of my guests didn't drink at all. Which is why i choose a by consumption open bar. In the end I had to pay for several bottles of champagne that no one wanted or drank. I also had issues with our one night stay at the hotel for our wedding night. I opted out of staying in the historical part of the hotel to instead stay in the newer building. I had been shown ahead of time which suite we would get on our wedding night and I was assured their would be no issues on the day, just get my key and go. We went to the building our room was supposed to be in and our keys were for a different part of the hotel. We had to wait 20 minutes for someone to correct the mistake and bring the key to our suite, while our guests and photographer waited. When they did arrive the key was to a tiny room with a handicap bathroom! We needed to get back to our wedding so we just excepted it. In the morning we also come to find out there's no room service in our building, and no vending machines. So we left ASAP to eat.

We are very happy that we chose the Stanley Hotel for our wedding. Everything went smoothly and many of our guests said it was the BEST wedding they have ever attended. On the day of the wedding I was calm and was really able to enjoy the day because everything was taken care of. The staff went above and beyond the day of the wedding to make us feel extra special.

The Stanley Hotel is a wonderful place to get married. This history of the hotel and the beauty of Estes Park make for a grand ceremony and reception. Everyone was very accommodating (even with a very last minute change of ceremony venue) and extremely helpful.

My husband and I got married in July of this year at the Stanley. It was an excellent venue! Every inch of it is beautiful and the views are to die for. We got married on the Longs Peak Lawn and about recommend it for couples looking for a gorgeous backdrop that is a more private than the other locations on the property. We had our reception in the Music Room, which was wonderful! We had our bar out on the veranda and, when it got late, they opened up all of the doors so the room stayed cool. The food at our rehearsal dinner and reception was AMAZING! We had a buffet at the rehearsal and a plated meal for the reception and both were presented beautifully and delicious. Our coordinator, Cynthia, was great as well! She communicated well, was professional and was a wonderful person to work with! She was so flexible and honest with us: if there was something she couldn't do, she told us and offered us viable alternatives. She was friendly and kind and did a wonderful job the day of our wedding: everything went perfectly! Seriously! We had been told to plan for things to go wrong, but nothing did. It was perfect! The Stanley has a few flaws that couples should consider. The first is that it is a very popular location for tourists and weddings. It is crowded. There were 2 other weddings the same weekend as ours, one on the same day. We didn't find it to be much of an issue, aside from tourists not listening to coordinators while we were doing pictures. But if you are looking for an exclusive event, it might be an issue. It is also expensive. We found it to be worth it as there was so much included, but you need to leave plenty of room in your budget for gratuity and taxes: they ended up being a lot more than we anticipated. Overall, we would definitely recommend the Stanley Hotel as a venue. The food is amazing, the location is gorgeous, and the coordinators are wonderful. It is a high quality location that you will not be disappointed with!

We had our rehearsal dinner at the Stanley and it was beautiful! It was awesome to be in such a historic building and the Music Room was gorgeous. The food was also very good. The only complaint we have is they didn't respond to a couple emails and didn't charge us for the final payment until a month after the rehearsal. We had contacted them about payment and we just kind of fell through the cracks. It was resolved in the end though and we couldn't have chosen a better place for a rehearsal dinner!

The Parlour did such a good job with my hair. I wish I would if had a consultation with an actual hair run through. But over all very nice and they did a great job with my makeup.
