Sarah & Laura
For those that don’t know our story…here it is.
I (Sarah) was at the pinnacle of my life, college degree in hand, working for $6.25/hour at Mr. Movies (a movie rental place)in River Falls. Laura was also working there, but she was fresh out of high school. When I learned that she liked girls and had a girl named Stacey in hot pursuit of her, I decided I had to make my move. One night, after she hung out nearly all evening at the movie store waiting for me to close up, I invited her to my house to watch Tomb Raider II (knowing no dyke could resist watching Angelina Jolie).
We sat on opposite ends of the couch and didn’t so much as hug goodnight, but she accepted my invitation for another movie night the following evening. That next night we watched Serendipity. I waited impatiently the whole movie to kiss her, and after I did she told me that she had wanted to as well, but that she had waited for me to make the first move. I am so glad I did because the rest is history.
We have been together for almost 4 years, and although it hasn’t been easy at times, neither of us would do anything differently. We want to get married and spend the rest of our lives loving each other. Loving each other not in spite of our differences, but because of them.
Love InspirationOn screen romance helps us see just how perfect we are for each other and how lucky we are to be in love.
