Aaron & Jason

Welcome to our wedding page! If you’re here, that means you read the information page in your invite and have settled a debate we had about whether or not people would see it LOL. We are so excited for our special day and are hoping you will share that day with us.

We met one cold February evening on a Match.com date (it’s true!). Aaron- had successfully passed a rigorous line of questions–including the ever-so-important “does the dog like him” test- and won me over for a series of follow on dates. Both of us had been searching many years for “the one” and so we had plenty of time to know what they were looking for. It quickly became apparent our search was over and neither of us wanted to be with anyone else.

Aaron is an active duty Sailor in the US Navy originally from the Puget Sound area. After traveling the world with his family while his father was in the Navy, he spent his younger years in northern VA. He eventually joined the Navy himself, hoping to travel the world and see exciting and beautiful places.

After finishing his training he requested to be stationed in the Puget Sound area, recalling the natural beauty of the area and seeking to reestablish himself in a place that is “right out of National Geographic” magazine. The notion that something wonderful was waiting for him there also helped to make up his mind.

Jason is an Assistant Store Manager for AT&T. He was born and raised in Washington but also spent a good part of his childhood in the great state of Montana. Jason returned to Washington following college in Minnesota and eventually launched a successful career in sales and sales management.

Shortly after celebrating our first year together, we traveled to Washington DC in the Spring of 2013 to visit Aaron’s family and do some sight seeing. While visiting the Lincoln Memorial, Jason presented a ring and asked Aaron to marry him.

Special thanks to my friend Kelly who put together our invites (after some interesting debate and discussion I might add lol). The beautiful paper and specail fonts are all courtesy of her. Thank you Kelly! We love you!

Thanks to Dann Richey! Dan has been a friend of mine for some time and has been a great asset to have in our wedding planning. His URL is below. Please visit his page to see his work and by all means use him for your special day.

At this point, we have a pretty established home, so there isn’t a whole lot that we need, but there are a few things we would like. (heheheh) Below you’ll find a link to 3 different options to choose from for gift giving. Traveler’s Joy is a site that allows you to contribute to our dream honeymoon. Since we have a lot of “stuff”, having a website to help us pay for a cool trip we’d like to take sounded like a cool option to give folks. Macy’s is our main registry where you’ll find a ton of options. Macy’s did NOT carry the type of knives we wanted, so we established a separate registry just for knives at Crate and Barrel.

We look forward to seeing you at the wedding. Thank you for being a part of our special day!

Love,

Aaron and Jason!
