Betreace & Tiffany
I was once married before, and things went really sour with that relationship that made it end in divorce. You name he did it: cheated, drugs and abusive. Before I met her I had been single for about a year because I was broken hearted and just didn’t really want to deal with anyone ever again…. but then I saw her. The way that she walked, and just how she wore her hair…. it literally had me tramatized!!! It was the year 2006, I was once again smitten by the sight of just a beautiful person and I had to get to know this person even if it was just as a friend. She came in and showed me how to love again, and helped me mend my broken heart…. so let me tell you about when we first met. When we first met chemistry and the sparks flew. We use to work with one another, then we became friends. It is actually funny how that happened because she say’s that I was stalking her (LOL) but I use to literally wave at her everyday and she would totally look the other way. Then, one day I just called her on the work phone and asked her “Why don’t you ever acknowledge that I am speaking to you and do the polite thing which is …. wave back?”, and her reply was “Okay, next time I will make sure that I speak.” At that point I knew I had her where I wanted her (I love you baby… :)). She then, later on that day, called me and said “Hey, take down this number and give me a call sometime.” I then said okay and that was that. I didn’t call her right out because hey I didn’t want to seem too desperate…. so I waited a week before actually calling her, and after that first phone call the rest was history. We went on our first date which was at Dave ‘N Buster’s in Marietta, Georgia and had a blast. Then, we went on a couple more dates and finally made it official between us. We moved in together and took it day by day. Then came the proposal…. it was so sweet. It was a Sunday, in March of ’07 and she came by and went directly upstairs to speak to my son. I was downstairs cleaning up (and actually at this time we had moved out of the apartment that we stayed in together because of certain reasons: her job was in Alpharetta so she moved there and mine was in College Park so I stayed there) but anyways, I was in the kitchen and my son comes downstairs with a box. He looked at me and said (Mind you my son was 3 years old at the time) “Mommy… will you marry Ms. Tiffany?”. I immediately started crying and said… “Yes, Yes, Yes….” She then came from out of the living room to me and hugged me and I told her that I was going to get her because I was looking crazy… my hair wasn’t combed, I was in a pair of shorts and an old shirt with my house shoes on. That was a very unique and different way to propose to someone but I loved it!!!! Well, we are pretty much laid back people. We are both Capricorns, both love the color blue, and eat our Kit-Kats the same exact way. We share so many things together for instance our will to have and love children, and our love for antique cars and just cars that are uniquely designed. She is my soulmate as well as I am hers. I have been so blessed to have her in my life!!! She is such a geniune and pleasant person to be around. She has taught me the definition of true love, and has taught me how to love again and I love her dearly.
